Privacy policy

Applies to the Android app Swiss QR Bill (package name ch.jebla.qrbill) and to the website qr-rechnung.jebla.ch. Last updated: 12 October 2026.

In short: the app has no network permission and requests no permission at all. IBAN, names and amounts stay on your device. This website sets no cookies, measures nothing and loads nothing from third parties. There are no servers of ours that anything could be sent to.

1. Who is responsible

Blaser Connections, Romanshorn (Switzerland). For any privacy question: info@jebla.ch.

2. What the app processes

You enter what a bill contains: the payee's IBAN, name and address, the amount, the message or reference, and the language the slip should be printed in. This information is stored only locally on your device, so that it is still there after a restart.

There is no account, no sign-in and no registration. Nothing is sent to us and there is no connection to a bank.

3. Storage can be switched off

The options hold a switch called Store on this device. Turning it off deletes the stored details and the app stops remembering anything. Individual entries or the whole history can be cleared as well.

A note on Android backups: the app allows operating-system device backups (allowBackup="true"), so a full device backup may contain that file. If you would rather it did not, turn off backup on the device or uninstall the app; uninstalling removes everything that was stored.

4. What the app does not do

5. The QR code and the standard

The generated code follows the structure of the Swiss QR-bill, a standard published by SIX. No data is transmitted to SIX, to a bank or to anyone else: the code is computed on the device and stays there until you pass it on yourself.

6. Sharing with third parties

Nothing is shared, because nothing leaves the device. Only when you yourself hand a QR code, a PDF or an image to another app through "Share" does that content leave the device — you trigger this deliberately, and it is outside our control. What the receiving app does with it is governed by its own privacy policy.

7. This website

8. Downloading through Google Play

The app is distributed through Google Play. Google processes data of its own when you open the Play listing, download or update the app; we have no influence on that. Google's privacy policy applies.

9. Your rights

You have the right to information, correction, deletion and restriction of processing, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Since we receive no personal data about your use of the app, there is nothing on our side to disclose or delete: the details are only with you, on your device.

10. Changes

If this policy is updated, the date above changes. The version currently in force is the one on this page.
